Nicole Davis White, Psy.D., J.D. is an Executive Director of Delta Psychological Group and a licensed psychologist and juris doctor.  She is trained in issues related to the interface of psychology and the law, and she specializes in the assessment and treatment of emotional issues in adolescents and adults who are struggling with family systems issues, crisis management, adjustment problems, mood and personality disorders, and parenting. 

Dr. Davis provides individual, couples, and family therapy, and performs psychological evaluations for academic accomodations, personality and emotional functioning, vocational issues, risk assessment and sexual abuse or offending behaviors.  Dr. Davis also offers various forensic services including ex parte evaluations, adult and juvenile competency evaluations, parental fitness examinations, parenting plan recommendations and development, parenting facilitation and coordination, and therapeutic supervised visitation.

Dr. Davis has experience working in child welfare, community mental health, outpatient, psychiatric hospital and residential settings in both South Florida and in the Delaware Valley.  Most recently and until 2010 she was the Clinical Director of Family Resource Center of South Florida, a full case management agency serving foster children and their families in Miami Dade county.  Previously, Dr. Davis supervised several programs at Citrus Health Network, including the pediatric mobile crisis team (CCRT)and the juvenile forensic assessment and treatment program (JETS).  Dr. Davis also completed her post-doctoral training at the residential psychiatric unit for adolescent males (SIPP) at Citrus in 2006.  She has received additional post-doctoral training in family court mediation, parenting coordination and the treatment of juvenile sexual offenders.  She completed the Florida Forensic Training for both adult and juvenile offenders through the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute at the University of South Florida, and was a Fellow in the Brief Strategic Family Therapy Training program through the Center for Family Studies at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.  

Dr. Davis received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and criminal justice from the University of Florida, and later earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University along with her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Widener School of Law.  She is currently a member of the American Psychological Association and Florida Psychological Association, and is the Chair of the Legislative Advocacy and Public Policy Board (LAPPB) for the Dade County Psychological Association.
